Terms of Use
Last updated April 2026
By using Stackhold, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Not financial advice
Stackhold is a planning and modelling tool. It is not financial, tax, legal, or investment advice. Lending rule defaults reflect typical policy but your bank, broker, accountant, lawyer and regulator are your sources of truth. You are responsible for your own decisions and for verifying numbers with qualified professionals.
AI output
AI-generated text may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Always review proposed changes before applying them, and before relying on them to make a decision. AI features send your portfolio context to a third-party model provider listed on our Security page.
Subscriptions
Web subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Premium plans (Monthly and Yearly) include a 7-day free trial; Founding Member is a discounted yearly plan with no trial. Manage or cancel from Settings inside the app. When native iOS and Android apps ship, in-app purchases on those platforms will be governed by Apple App Store and Google Play policies in addition to these terms.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day refund on Premium Yearly and Founding Member purchases where the AI-generated plan functionality has not been substantially used. Email hello@stack-hold.app to request a refund.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Stackhold: no reverse-engineering, no scraping the API, no attempts to circumvent access controls, and no use in breach of any applicable law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stackhold and its operators are not liable for any loss arising from use of the app, including errors in calculations or AI responses.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
